***Peak Update Regarding COVID-19: November 25th, 2020***
With the recent uptick in COVID-19 cases we are implementing additional guidelines and reinforcing existing ones to keep everyone safe. We are asking for your support. The following protocols are in place effective immediately;
- Masks are required upon entering the Peak building.
- Please note that with the COVID-19 restrictions our facilities are restricted for patients/clients ONLY. We are unable to make any exceptions.
- If you are a guardian or carer then please speak with our Medical Receptionists.
- You will be screened with a short list of questions, recommended by the CDC.
- A staff member will then take your temperature and direct you to wash your hands. In this order.
- You will be asked to remain seated in our waiting area until a staff member instructs you to enter the treatment room. Please note;-
- We are limiting traffic flow in the building and trying to maintain safe distances, so please adhere to your appointment times.
- If you are early, you will be asked to wait for your appointment time unless we can accommodate you sooner, without impacting another patient's care and without breach any COVID-19 restrictions.
- If you are going to be late for your appointment, please call our office as soon as possible to make sure we can accommodate you. We will remain as flexible as possible, but we trust that you will understand if you are asked to reschedule your appointment due to COVID-19 related limitations.
- During your course of treatment, please inform our staff immediately (via phone) if;-
- you are having COVID-19 related symptoms.
- have been exposed to a confirmed case or are awaiting COVID-19 test results for any other reason.
- have traveled from any of the States currently listed on the CDC travel advisory list, where a 14-day quarantine is required.
**If any of the above apply, we will ask you a short series of questions so we can help direct your physical therapy care. We have your best interests at heart.
